Nicest hat I've ever owned! Exactly as advertised and hat size is right on. I wear a size 7 7/8 and have trouble finding hats that will fit. This size 2 XL is perfect. The ladies like to rub their fingers through the genuine fur too; just an additional benefit I hadn't planned on! Keeps me warm in the sub-zero temps we sometimes experience here. The sheared beaver trapper hat is awesome. I didn't know beaver pelt was so soft, but it's right up there with mink or sable in my opinion. As for warmth, it is super toasty...almost too warm, but I love it. It's well worth what I paid for it.

Ordered this hat because it had great reviews and I needed a replacement for another trapper, which is slightly too big for my head. So glad I did, it's warm, soft and really comfortable and fits perfectly. Also arrived really quickly and luckily didn't get hit with import duty, so I am very happy.
High quality very well made and well worth the money. the first one went to my son in Montana and now i will buy one for myself. It's hard to find quality like this anymore.

Can rarely get this beauty off its wearer to clean it...but I gotta. It is lovely and warm, but now and then I get a sniff of musty, which I suppose is to be expected for a hat that rarely comes off its perch. Cleaning ideas anyone?
A real touch of luxury! This hat is extremely well made and feels absolutely beautiful. I bought this as a present for my husband and now fancy one myself! Well worth spending that bit more on such a lovely thing to wear.
Beautiful hat, very soft and warm, yet lightweight. The only reason I did not give this hat five stars is that I think it runs small sizewise. I ordered a 2XL for my husband (from the size chart it should have been ample),and it is a snug fit. This is the second hat I have purchased from this company with the same issue, and interestingly, both smallish hats are with sheared beaver. I have ordered three other hats, bomber type, that fit perfectly according to the size chart. Overall, love the quality and weight of everything, and shipping was very fast. Customer service was super helpful and friendly.

We're going to a winter climate for Christmas this year. I knew I would need a very warm hat. This shaved beaver and leather hat fits perfectly and is so comfortable to wear. I am sure I will use it for years to come.
