Because this was made in North America, specifically Canada, I learned through research of the professional standards that must be adhered to and gained complete confidence in the superb ethical care of the animal used to create this; its industry *standard*, not suggestion, in the US and Canada. It can't get better than North American US/CAN, and it can't get better than mink. Industry critics in North America just aren't in possession of facts.
