In Chicago the winter can be harsh and this hat makes it comfortable. High quality, warm and much lighter on your head than the traditional shearling troopers hat. I also like the lenght of the flaps, not so long that they lay on your shoulders. All in all this is a very nice quality hat that looks great and is very comfortable and pratical. 5 Stars for this hat.
Could not believe how quick this arrived - less than a week!! I have worn this for game shooting to accompany my tweeds. Not only is it very lite and warm, it is distinctly different and the subject of discussion on shoot days. Really classy product.
Excellent service from Fur Hat World, I received the hat very quickly indeed after ordering over the Christmas period. Luckily the weather is still very cold and I have had plenty of opportunity to wear it. The beaver fur is extremely warm and beautifully soft, it is very well made and should last a lifetime - even after my wife and sister in law have spent hours running their fingers through the luxurious fur!!
The sheared beaver trapper hat is extremely soft and warm. The fur is excellent quality and leather is perfect. I was searching for a nice trapper and could not find one in totally came across Fur Hat World ....this one has the combination of style and is incredibly comfy. When you need to put the flaps down to stay additionally warm in wind it completely covers the ears in fur keeping the bitter cold from getting to you. Shipped quickly and well packaged. Can't say enough about the company and product really impressed.
Florence is on the Oregon coast and we can get some very windy and cold weather but I still need to get the dog out for a walk. Now that I have this great hat I actually stay warm on my walks, I plan on using it sailing too.
The fur on this hat is very comfortable against the skin. Girlfriend seems to think I look like some kind of foreign Russia guy and it seems to make her laugh, I don’t care it keeps me nice and warm. Just watch she’s going to try wearing it someday and decide she wants one too.

I know, I know, I live in Georgia ... but I am retiring in Maine and visit during January most years. I also have a large head. Getting this hat in a 2XL was a BIG plus! It is very warm, comfortable and looks great. Well made.
We're going to a winter climate for Christmas this year. I knew I would need a very warm hat. This shaved beaver and leather hat fits perfectly and is so comfortable to wear. I am sure I will use it for years to come.

Ordered this hat because it had great reviews and I needed a replacement for another trapper, which is slightly too big for my head. So glad I did, it's warm, soft and really comfortable and fits perfectly. Also arrived really quickly and luckily didn't get hit with import duty, so I am very happy.
