The fur brim is useful to provide shade during the Australian Winter for the month of really cold weather in this region when the sun still shines. The crown sits a little high. My measurement was exactly in the middle for the size I selected. I feel it is a bit loose. The addition of elastic to go under the hair has helped. Didn’t want to risk the expense of sending it back to have a smaller size and have it end up too tight. The parcel arrived within the timeframe indicated by the seller.
My hat arrived on time and was packed well. It is true to size, a medium fit me perfectly. While flattering and nicely made, I wish the brim was not so "floppy." If I roll up the front, it falls and covers my eyes. I believe if the brim were thicker and more substantial this would eliminate the problem. In all, however, the hat is warm and I am enjoying it.
This is a lovely hat, unfortunately it didn't suit me, it might have been the size, or simply the style. Anyway, I decided to return it. I did have to pay return shipping, so that was unfortunate which I can appreciate however, it kept me from trying again with another size.
The service was excellent as far as processing my order and very timely shipping. The refund was very quick and efficient.
I would order again from this company....working on that now.
Needing a warm winter hat to shield my face from UV rays, I looked and looked and found this hat. From the picture the brim appeared to be shy of the required four inches; the description did not mention dimensions.
However, the brim is just about 2 1/2", and if it didn't curl upwards there would be just over 3". Alas, not perfect, but with sunscreen and a nod away from the sun's rays I am happy.

Lovely hat. It's well made and of very good quality. For our Chicago winters, I need to stay warm. I like the style too. I think though I should have sized up. My head measures 32 inches, but I was concerned the xl would be too large.
Love the hat, but it fits very large. A small will fit a medium. I'm trying to figure out how to make it smaller so I can keep it. It matches my black sheepskin coat almost perfectly!
The good: the hat (small) fits my small head very well and is warm, so I'm happy with it.
The not-so-good: the hat came squashed into a small box and had lots of lint on it and did not look as smart or as well-made as I expected.
Actually a great hat - size as marked, well-made, high-quality shearling. My only suggestion would be to have an adjustable ribbon inside to be able to make it fit really snugly on a really cold or stormy day. But I definitely recommend this hat!
This hat runs a bit large, I had to send back a large and get a medium, but the small would probably fit too, as a snug fit helps hold it on in the wind. I put it on with the tag in the back but it looks better on my head with the tag in the front. High quality and warm. I like it.
Our grandson plays Rugby and since it is a winter sport. the fields get awfully cold especially when the winds kick in. This hat is GREAT for keeping my head warm and everyone knows if your head is warm that is "half the battle"! The feel of the hat, the texture of fabric and the fit were great for me. Can't talk about the website experience since my husband bought it for me as a gift.
