Geschert Biber vollständige russische Pelzmütze

I live in North Carolina so I am NOT acclimatized to the cold and this hat is nothing short of magic. I have worn it when it was 3f (-16c) and it kept my head toasty warm. When shoveling snow, hiking or doing strenuous work outside I notice that it breathes very well and my bald head doesn't get sweaty.

Today I was outside blowing snow at 23f (-5c) and the wind was blowing 25 mph (11m/s) with the ear and back flaps just hanging down (not tied) and the fur put no pressure on my glasses.
The flaps felt loose against my face but the fur did and incredible job keeping the wind and blowing snow out. When I put on goggles the fur formed and sealed nicely around them without pushing the hat out of place and without putting any pressure on my goggles.

I am bald and my head is 23 3/8" (59.3cm). I ordered the XL. In any other hat I would say it's too loose but in this hat it works. There is no pressure or squeezing when wearing glasses or goggles and the fur seals off the gaps so there are no drafts. A fit this loose on my Mad Bomber hats allows in cold drafts but it's no problem for this beaver. It's like you're not wearing a hat... except for the warm head.

When I received my hat one of the snaps on the front flap immediately came apart. I contacted Fur Hat World and they promptly sent me a return label. I didn't have to pay shipping or mess with customs/duty paperwork for the return and they very promptly sent me another hat. So, their customer service is spot on. I would gladly buy from them again.
