The weather has warmed up a bit, so I haven't had a chance to try it out in real cold yet, but it is CRAZY WARM. The only problem I've had with it so far is that my head gets all sweaty because, even though it's too warm for the weather, it's so soft and comfy that I don't want to take it off.
