The ushanka itself is peerless in construction and comfort and will last the rest of my life as nothing short of a personal treasure. The fit is precise, and at the risk of boasting, its been nothing but compliments. I actively looked for loose stitches and such and found it to be flawless. Winters here are exceptionally harsh on the Great Lakes, so I can only buy the best winter-gear and couldn't be more satisfied with this. And because it is both mink and made so well, I don't have to baby it or worry about wear and weather. It may be luxury to others, but to me its about essential top-shelf rugged durability and function. I wouldn't taken so long to spend that much money and leave room for a single doubt.

Finally, I am an animal lover and took (too much) time to do my due diligence on this. Because this was made in North America, specifically Canada, I learned through research of the professional standards that must be adhered to and gained complete confidence in the superb ethical care of the animal used to create this; its industry *standard*, not suggestion, in the US and Canada. It can't get better than North American US/CAN, and it can't get better than mink. Industry critics in North America just aren't in possession of facts.

OK...to begin with I do not live in areas where this had would be worn more than what I would wear it, but that is OK...maybe I can move to Montana in the future and get more use out of it. It is a great hat and very good looking as well. I ordered the black...I hope to order a brown version as well. I also have a brown version of the cossack style as well and would love a black version of it. But I have to wait to order those. As for the shipping, no problem, I received my order as promised. Hat fits good and I love the style. Hope to order the brown version soon!
