This Sheared Beaver Full Fur Russian hat is lightweight and exceptionally soft. The fur is sheared so only the softest undercoat remains. Our Russian style hat is made with genuine sheared Beaver Fur including the ear flaps with leather ties. The ear flaps can be worn down for extra warmth and style or neatly folded up and tied at the top. The interior is quilt-lined for extra comfort. Beaver fur is the warmest of all the furs, and because it is an aquatic animal, the fur is very dense.

Just a follow up on my last five star rating. That was on my initial take. When I use the ear flaps its very noticeable that the hat has a rich brown colour when the flaps are up but the felt used for the inner part is greyish with some white. It does not look good and is disappointing as I've purchased about a dozen products including hats, boots and slippers. Overall purchase for this item is two.

I would give this hat a 4.5 star for quality but the coloration was much more muted than I expected and than the picture illustrated. This was enough to leave me a little disappointed. So I lower my rating on that aesthetic.
