Similar to how cow hides are used for leather, rabbits are ranch-raised in Europe for food purposes and the pelts are used for fur. Rabbit fur is light weight, warm, and softer than any man made material. Rabbit can come in many different forms; it can be left natural, plucked, sheared, dyed and processed in order to resemble other furs. Rabbit has a medium length guard hair and it comes in a wide array of colors, it is not as durable as some other types of furs but it is less expensive and a great value.
