Coyote can be found throughout North America and Central America. The Native Americans used coyote pelts for a wide variety of reasons such as to accent their tools and instruments or in dream catchers and rattles. Today coyote fur is used to produce many different garments including coats, collars and headbands. The coyote's fur is long allowing for fantastic insulation. Its fur is generally pale gray or tan and its thick under fur is durable and warm allowing for luxurious garments.
